I like the color for the background but the red and pink is throwing me off. I'd try some other colors that fit with your palette better and apply he texture to them.

This is delightful! Check your centering. It looks like the hearts are more to the right, and if that is the effect your are going for then I apologize. And if they are centered forgive. I used the onscreen Firefox Measure It tool, which could be off.
