Hee-hee-hee! Love your sense of fun! What would it look like if you made the Booze line purple? I think it might be complimented better by the yellow background than the pink is?

Hi Deb! Thank you for the feedback! Did try purple where green is now... will look at that option too. Thanks again!

Oh and I don't know if you need it or not, but it did occur to me that maybe you should have a ? after 'You in or what'....since it's kinda a qt.

Thank you Erin! I did consider the ? mark, and ended up leaving it off b/c it made it seem more deadpan which is the spirit of the phrase. could hear the voice drop down (instead of up like a ? mark) on the end to imply you're crazy if you could resist this party. going to think more on this though, thank you!

I get exactly what you are saying and I was debating it too whether you need it or not! ha ha. Maybe some other Minties can give their opinion.

hi lacey! i'm SO honored you'd like to order my design as a save the date -- yay!! minted is AWESOME about letting anyone order any design (regardless if it wins a challenge or not... the winners for this one haven't been announced yet) and in this case you'll be the FIRST bride to have this card! just click the "contact us" button below or call minted at 1-888-828-6468. thanks SOOO much!! :)

Lacey on Nov 12, 2011 at 5:34pm

I actually contacted mint.com and they said if I was interested they would have the design team look in to buying the rights, and that it could be a long process. My wedding is in February (I'm a procrastinator)... Is there any way I can order dire toy through you?

hi lacey! are you wanting to order the card -- including the photo? or would you want to put in the photo of you and your fiance? the only reason i can think that they would've mentioned rights is if you wanted this photo left in the design. this card would be easy to customize with your own image for your save the date if you have a photo taken with you and your fiance far away from the camera in the bottom left... or it could even work on a solid color background without a photo. i've written minted so i'm sure you'll be hearing from them soon, but in the meantime if you'd like to write me directly with any additional questions since it's the wknd: hi.lighter.inc@gmail.com either way i'm sure they can get this worked out for you to customize the card with either a photo you provide or with a solid background. the only possible issue with rights i can think of would be if you wanted to use this exact photo (of another couple). thanks for your patience -- so excited!

hi kelsey! so excited you like my design! minted can customize the card for you: your names/dates, and the photo of course (or a solid color background), and they can also customize the main text. there's a "buy now" link above the card that takes you to the order page, and you can ask minted's customer service for assistance. this card works well as a save the date, and even a wedding invitation. hope this is helpful, and let us know if you have any other questions!

p.s. to kelsey: luckily there's plenty of room on that line for booze to change to almost anything: beer, wine, drinks, cocktails, champagne etc. thanks again for your consideration!

I love this!! But do you think I could use it as a reception and dance invitation. We are having a small intimate ceremony but after that everyone else is invited to the reception and dance. Any ideas on how to design it for that?

hi erin! congrats on your upcoming wedding! this could definitely become a reception/dance invite... it's actually kindof perfect for it! could work (with or w/o the photo) by revising either the line with your names to say "a reception (or dance, etc.) for erin + groom's name) OR the last line to say that (& if you needed to add an additional line below that the minted team can nudge it in there). they will be happy to help you make it suit your occasion -- their customer service is the best :) let me know if you have any other questions, & congrats again, xo!
