Hopefully this works better? I had liked the original texture, but am open to trying new options! Just really can't tell the color on this at all...the monitors and color shift from cmyk to rgb is just hard on this one! Many thanks!

The revised version is a little softer and looks great! I think the "real" wood grain look is more unique. A wood grain pattern might look nice as well, but you would have a more difficult time getting all the depth of color you have here.

re: colors - i have to say i preferred the darker wood in the first version just because it made the type pop a bit more.

Any thoughts/suggestions on the background? On one monitor, it looks great; on my second it looks very dark. Thanks in advance!

I really like the background but wonder if it would look better if the background was a wood grain pattern instead of the planks. Does that makes sense?

i really like the actual wood instead of it being a woodgrain pattern. and i think the darkness is great. the type and colors really pop.
