Thanks Sandy and Ink Swell (sorry, don't know your name) for the recommendations and the cool line of copy.
Ana this is such a great idea!!! So clever - and well done ;)
Love the final result!
i love this!
Your revisions look great! (And it's Jennette...) Good luck!
Very nice :)
Thanks everyone. You're all so sweet. And Jennette, thank you again (now that I know your name, ha!)
great idea, love your execution!
Congrats on the special editor's pick for this one!!!! And so glad they picked Red Hot too : )
I am soooo excited that it was a judge's pick!!! so neat. Thank! Jennifer!
Not sure about the glove? too many illustrations? also, would it look better without the background texture?
This is such a cute idea! I like the background texture. And I think I like the glove too... once the recipe card is cut off that will be the only illustration on it, right?
This is so creative. I like the texture too...gives it a slight vintage feel. I wonder how it would look if you made very simplistic oven knobs on each side of "amy & joseph's kitchen" instead of the glove(?). (In the same illustration/outline style as whisk). Ties in with "turn the heat on" too :)
What a great idea! Nice Job!
Love this idea Ana and well executed. I really like the texture. What if you put that same texture in the recipe header to coordinate the top with the bottom? Just a thought.
WoW! So excited, that are all great amazing ideas. "Smudge design" the knobs I will try, love that it ties to turning the oven on. Sandy, great idea about the bar, I think that is probably what I need. THANKS so much! Thanks Bethany & Alisse.
This is one of my favorite designs so far! Very practical use of the space. My only suggestion would be (if it works..) to try the wisk in perspective, so that the little bands look more rounded - like a real wisk. It looks great as is though.
Ana this is such a great idea. I love it!
What a fantastic idea! Great job Ana!
this is a great idea! I would have totally used this invite for a baby shower we just put on for a friend :-)
lol, just realized it is for the bridal shower, I think it would work perfectly for a baby shower too. Healthy kid friendly recipes are really valuable! ;-)
Thanks everyone. Ha! Jennifer. That is a great idea...doing it for a baby shower. Would just change the design a bit.
What a great idea! I love everything about this, but agree that tying the bottom in with the top would make it even better. Maybe try the potholder in the same 1-color illustration style as the whisk? Or make the top of the whisk a heart and just repeat it at the bottom? Although then maybe you'd need to say something like "whip up something good" instead of "turn the heat on". So cute! Wish these were around for my shower!
cute & clever :)
