Adorable! I agree with Amy about the Dad line. I think this card is so cute that you don't even need the personalized element.

Thanks so much guys for all your comments!!! Very much appreciated! I agree the design would also work well with a simple "Happy Birthday" message on the front, but since that one of the goals here was to create a card that allowed for personalization, I felt it was important to include. Also, just wanted to give a shout-out to the Dads out there! :)

I know you have probably already made your mind up but I think you should still consider doing away with "Dad" in the banner. It just doesn't balance with the rest of the super, super awesome design elements. Maybe you could give one of the bowties a "dad" pattern or personalize on the inside of the card. You can always post versions in the forum for feedback :)

or you could center "dad" and have lines centered on each side of the word so that it balances with "happy birthday" above.
