Changed the colors but it's not quite right...

The ribbon seems unfinished to me. What if you made the ribbon look like it was wrapping around the backside of the card by having just a small end of it show on the right side? And, of course, adjusting the picture so that you're not covering up anything important. It may look totally stupid when you try it but it seems kind of neato in my head right now :)

the cross seems a little out of place since Christmas is about his birth- not his death...just a thought...cute design though!!

I would photoshop out the mark in the sand under the name, just to give it better presentation. I love the name on an angle. I agree about switching the cross. How about a star? it would have more universal appeal.

I changed my mind. I like this just as it is. Every time I scroll past it, it catches my eye :)

Thanks Sydney ! I actually has the banner wrapping around like you suggested originally but it was a little bit awkward with such a small snippet on one end.

perfect in its simplicity. Great job, love the tilted script, almost like a signature... adds a personal touch!

The contrast of the red with the B&W is nice! The red pops. Using the cross is a good touch too.

I really like this card a lot, but I don't think the signature matches the feel of the card. The layout has very clean, sharp lines - straight angles. I'd try keeping the signature completely horizontal, and probably using block letters instead of script. GREAT layout though. I also think the ribbon looks fine, but if you think it looks unfinished, perhaps you could cut off the end and just leave it as a 'block' btwn the upper and lower pictures.
