We source our designs from indie designers around the world who win our competitive design competitions. Only the cream of the crop makes it through for sale on Minted.com. From there, designs are yours to customize and make entirely your own.

Fonts of many shapes, sizes, and colors

Any font type, font size, and color option that we make available in our designs on Minted.com is yours to choose from, at no additional cost. Feel free to experiment with the different fonts, font sizes and colors that we offer to see what you like best. Just be sure the font size isn't too big that it impacts the design.

For a limited time, custom colors on wedding products are complimentary.

No darkroom needed

Our easy-to-use photo tool allows you to crop, re-size, and rotate your photo with a click of the button. You can even transform the very color of your photograph, easily turning color photos into B&W or sepia, by using the "adjust photo" link under your uploaded image. If you need a little help with photo editing, our graphic designers are happy to assist. If you need a lot of help, an additional design fee may apply.

Say more, say less

Write a lot or write a little. Our team of professional graphic designers will typeset your card by hand to make sure it looks perfect. There are some limitations -- a retelling of Moby Dick won't fit on any card (and if you want it to, an additional design fee may apply), but a nice poem or note would fit beautifully.

A tweak here and there

Our professional graphic designers will happily make minor edits to the placement of design elements and typography.

Back of card

Add text to the back of your card, in black ink only ($25 design fee).

Layout

Add significantly more text that requires modification to the original design, or move your text box up, down, to the left or right. Tell your designer what you want by leaving a note “Special Instructions” box ($25 design fee).

Photo

    Request more extensive photo edits ($25 design fee)

Custom Design and Color

  • Custom create a background color not available with your chosen design ($15 design fee, waived for a limited time)
  • Request layout, typography, and illustration changes that fundamentally affect the original design ($25 design fee)

Font

    Request a font not already available on Minted.com ($25 design fee + a minimum of 75% of the font licensing fee - please contact us for exact pricing)

Once you've placed your order, we start the proofing process.

Here's how it works: A professional graphic designer reviews your order and creates a complimentary digital proof for your review. If design fees apply, we will contact you before sending a proof.

You receive your first proof and provide any feedback you may have. You can make major revisions in between the first and second proofs for the design fees described above. Of course, if an error on a proof is ours, we won't charge you for making you a corrected proof.

If you have a very large order, we may be able to waive some fees

Also, some designs and formats are less flexible and may not be able to be customized exactly the way you want or may require more time and additional design fees. If that's the case, we'll work with you to create the best solution and of course let you know before we do anything.
