I am inspired by many external things -- gardens, color, architecture, fashion -- but I'm most inspired by the vision of a couple's happiness. The idea of the most elegant day of their lives, surrounded only by friends and family that care for them is the most inspiring element in designing an invitation.

What is one thing that no one knows about you?:
Probably my name. Prentiss Douthit is a real person. "Douthit" is pronounced like the region I was born and raised: the South. Douth • it. Other than that, I'm an open book. What you see is what you get. Enjoy!
