Your sources of design inspiration:
My color inspiration often comes from the materials themselves - the exquisite, richly colored papers we import from Europe, and the tactile, crisp quality of engraving which inspires the imagination by allowing nearly unlimited color combinations. I am also inspired by color trends in fashion, by my background in fine arts - an appreciation for the fauvists, color field painting, Bauhaus and constructivist movements in particular - and by travels to countries with vivid colors in architecture and dramatic landscapes, such as the Cote d'Azur, Copenhagen, Paris and Barcelona.

What is one thing that no one knows about you?:
As a child, I loved making collages, and using my dad’s rickety old typewriter to compose stories and write letters to family. Everything had to be perfect, so I would type and re-type them until flawless. I was equally obsessed with Chartpak rub-on transfer lettering, and loved to mix and match lettering styles. I would often spend hours composing a simple letter to a friend, rubbing on each individual letter to the page by hand. Looking back, my future of designing an engraved line of invitations and stationery now seems fairly obvious!
