Dauphine Press creates exquisite custom letterpress invitations and stationery for life’s extraordinary events. Our approach brings together our unique designs with the rich legacy of the printing trade. We take pride in our artisan approach to our work and our heritage craftsmanship.
Our designs are created in the studio by a team of extraordinary graphic designers with a passion for their work. Our elegant and understated aesthetic often has a modern twist. We introduce unexpected color combinations and use classic design elements in non-traditional ways with stunning results.

Your sources of design inspiration:
Vintage textile patterns and botanical engravings, block printed textiles from India, my mother’s living room décor ca. 1973, Orla Kiley’s palette, handwriting samples from the 1800s, intaglio and Etruscan jewelry, medieval heraldic crest designs.

What is one thing that no one knows about you?:
Before her letterpress obsession took hold, Dauphine Press founder Trish Kinsella’s career path included stints as a newspaper delivery girl, a cycling tour guide in France, and a fine arts appraiser for an auction house and a designer for Williams-Sonoma. She has lived in six different cities that begin with the letter P.
