Special Winners of Getting Hitched Save The Date Challenge

We have spent a few weeks reviewing the entries in the “Getting Hitched” Save The Date Challenge and were thrilled to see the level of genius and creativity on display by the Minted community.  After a lot of deliberation, we were finally were able to pick the winners of our special awards.  With so many great submissions, we wanted to show you the runner up designs for each category.

These designs will all be for sale on Minted very soon!

Customer’s Favorite Design:

“Flowchart” by Paper and Parcel.  This design received the most love from Minted customers – and it is one of the most unique and creative designs we’ve ever seen!  This design would have been perfect for many analytical friends.

Runners Up for Best Customer Pick Design  

Best Beach Design:

A totally unexpected and perfectly executed “beach” invitation.  Who would have thought that lobsters could be made so beautiful and preppy?  As usual, Karly Depew of Oscar & Emma shows her strength in typography and color with “The Maine Event” design.

Best Winery Design:

“St. Helena” by Alex Elko Design.  We loved this very fresh vision of a winery invitation.  The vintage off-ink effect is a brilliant touch, especially balanced with restrained type and a pink rule.  This is truly an invitation that guests would remember forever.

Best Newbie Design:

“Black & White Hand Drawn“, by it’s me!

This design took my breath away.  It is bold and romantic, and I couldn’t stop thinking about it after I saw it.  I love how much depth this design has despite it being in just black and white.   I love the oversized ampersand.

Best Winter Design:

“Ski Run” by Lehan Paper Design. We all smiled instantly when we saw this design.  What a creative idea to celebrate the fun sports of winter, especially for an active couple.

Runners Up for Best Winter Design

Best Fall Design:

“Personal Touch” by “Jenifer Martino”.  We know how hard it is to design a good photo card, and this one has several winning elements: ample photo space, unusual treatment where the photo is well integrated with the rest of the card yet the ‘tape’ and handwriting adds depth to the design.  The overall simplicity of the design is something we know our customers are seeking.
